Operator Manual
ORBISPHERE
There are 3 access levels defined:
• Quality Control Manager
• Supervisor
• Operator
The Quality Control Manager has full access to all menus and options, and is the only
user with access to this
Access Levels
dialog box.
Supervisor level has access to all menus and options apart from this
Access Levels
table.
Operator level has no access to any option in either the File or Configuration menus,
apart from starting and ending a measurement process (see
“Measurement From the
PC” on page 31 ). In addition operator level has no access to either the
CO2 P/T
or
TRUE
CO2
button, or the
Clear
button in the LINE window.
Note:
Each person on the Access Rights list has access to his or her own personal
ID
, which
can be changed if required.
Initial access to this table is by the default ID
1234
(name Armstrong), which has been
allocated to the QC Manager. This should be changed immediately to a valid ID and
Name.
For each individual, a name, an alphanumeric ID (minimum of 4 characters) and an
access level is required. As mentioned above, only the
QC Manager
level can add,
remove or change existing entries. The list is displayed alphabetically and holds a
maximum of 100 entries.
If the
No ID required
box is checked, then all users are given access to all options and
menus (with the exception of this
Access Level and ID's
option) without being prompted
for a password. Note, however, that all actions will still be logged, but without the user
name.
4.2.2 Setting a LINE Configuration
Line status
shows if the line is open (active) to allow measurements to be taken. If the
line is active, this box is checked. The line is usually started from the Start Line A/B
options (see
“Measurement From the PC” on page 31 )
Up to two filling lines may be
displayed in the program window.
Each line will be connected to a
separate PC COM port, which will
h ave bee n se t up during the
installation process.
Access the LINE you wish to
configure, by selecting the
Line A
o r
L i n e B
o p t i o n . M o d i f y
p a r a m e t e r s f o r t h a t L I N E b y
selecting the
Change
button.
