Finely align the beam of the secondary side as follows:

Prerequisite:Uprights and beam of the secondary side have already been
roughly aligned

Remove coverings

Slightly loosen the screws

3

Rotate set screws to the outermost position of the adjusting tool

4

Mount adjusting tool

5

Use set screws to align the beam

6

Tighten the screws

7

Remove the adjusting tool

8

Install the coverings

The beam of the secondary side has been finely aligned.

7.4.5

Anchoring the product

The base mounting is available either with an adhesive anchor or with a
welded joint. You can find the appropriate anchor type in the layout.

NOTE

Expansion joints

Expansion joints absorb expansion in the foundations. If products are posi-
tioned over expansion joints, this expansion is transmitted to the product.
This could lead to material damage or to imprecision in the process. If the
edge clearances of the anchorage facing the expansion joint are less than the
specified values, the edge of the concrete foundation can break off.

• Never anchor products if this involves the product bridging an expansion

joint

• Contact a Güdel service department as soon as possible if the product

bridges an expansion joint

• Always maintain the edge clearances of the anchoring in relation to the ex-

pansion joint

Only anchor the product after it has been correctly positioned and aligned.

Only use anchors approved by Güdel!
