Preparing the machine for transport
The machine is mounted and installed on the vehicle in accordance with the section
Instructions for installation, connecting and disconnecting (j) .
Since there are many combinations of the boom mower with various tools mounted - as
well as a wide range options for mounting extra equipment - it is important to find the
best transport position for exactly your combination of the machine. In particular, the
double pivot joint provides a lot of extra possibilities of placing the tool in a practical
manner behind the boom mower in transport position.

In addition to the extra equipment that may limit your options in terms of positioning the
tool during transport, the design of the tractor can also affect your transport position
options. It is important that the operator carefully tries different options.
It is important that cylinder 3 and cylinder 4 are fully inter-connected (see

The operator must handle the movements of the arm with caution as it
is possible for the arm to drive towards the driver's cabin. It is the
responsibility of the operator/user to keep at least a distance of 30 cm to the cabin.
