The picture shows the prepared G3.5 gold-contact plugs and sockets ready for soldering to the wires.
Caution:
do not
allow solder to run onto the gold contacts. If this should happen accidentally, remove it again using a small file.
Considerable force is required to press the connectors into the housings using a screwdriver. Take care: injury
hazard.
Install the PICO 25 speed controller below the battery compartment. The On / Off switch should be mounted in the
left-hand fuselage side, as shown in the picture. Cut an opening in the fuselage side, and fix the switch in place using
a drop of cyano.
Connect two 180 mm extension leads to the receiver for the aileron servos, and fix the receiver to the bottom of the
fuselage using Velcro tape. Connect the rudder and elevator servos and the speed controller to the receiver.
The photo shows the aileron extension leads projecting out of the wing saddle. Run the receiver aerial down and
through a 2.1 mm Ø hole in the bottom of the fuselage. Form a small loop in the aerial wire to act as a strain relief,
