Kaleido-MX functional block diagram

Getting Organized

This section provides information about system requirements, and items shipped with your
Kaleido-MX (3RU).

Required Materials

Your Kaleido-MX system package includes the following:

• A Kaleido-MX (3RU) unit with pre-installed cards (2–4 input cards, 1 or 2 output cards, a

Densité CPU-ETH2 controller card, a VDA-1002 analogue video distribution amplifier
module, 1 or 2 GPI-1501 GPI I/O modules), and 1 or 2 power supplies

A REF-1801 HD/SD frame reference module, the second power supply, and a second
GPI-1501 module are optional. The table below indicates how the cards included in
your Kaleido-MX (3RU) are distributed in the housing frame:
