Maintenance

313997A

Motor Control Module (MCM)

Keep heat sink fins clean at all times. Clean them using
compressed air.

NOTE: Do not use conductive cleaning solvents on the
module.

Install Upgrade Token

NOTE: The MCM connection to the system is temporar-
ily disabled during the installation of upgrade tokens.

Ensure system is inactive.

Remove access cover (D).

Insert and press token (T) firmly into slot.

NOTE: There is no preferred orientation of the token.

Turn power on. The red LED (L) will flash until the
software is uploaded. See F

. 20.

Remove token (T) when software has successfully
uploaded or key token is no longer required.

Replace access cover (D).
