Equipment Controls Screen:
Manually activate/deactivate an equipment selection.
The Equipment Control screen is accessible from within various screens to activate or deactivate an
equipment selection. To manually change a selection for a popping cycle, reference the information
below.
Control Descriptions:
To pop corn - when a recipe is selected the equipment is automatically turned ON.
The Kettle Heat,
Stir Motor, and Filter System MUST BE ON to pop corn.
To manually turn the crisper OFF for a cook
cycle, reference the instructions on next page.
FILTER SYSTEM
(must be ON for the kettle to heat)
–
Supplies power to the blower and initializes a
check of the 3 filter interlocks, the filter door interlock, and the 2 pressure switches (detecting
filter efficiency).
When finished popping, allow unit to sufficiently vent, then turn Filter System OFF, to preserve
filter life if not popping for long periods of time.
Note:
The Filter Timeout feature automatically shuts the Filter System off after an allotted
period of idle time (no popcorn popped). Default timeout is 15 minutes (to adjust the
timeout setting, refer to Navigating the Touch Screen Control section N7.10 User
Configuration).
For further information on the filtration system, reference the Filter System section (located in
the Installation section of this manual).
KETTLE HEAT
–
Kettle heat turns ON once a cook cycle begins (stir motor is automatically turned ON).
(Stir motor will remain on after kettle heat is turned OFF, until the stir motor is turned OFF.)
Note:
Kettle Heat button is always dimmed on Equipment Control screen, it is controlled
automatically by the popper through the cooking cycle (or cleaning).
STIR MOTOR
(must be ON for the kettle to heat)
–
Supplies power to the kettle stir motor. The stir
motor MUST be ON at all times when there is popcorn (popped or un-popped) in the kettle.
POPCORN CRISPER
–
Supplies power to the popcorn crisper (for Twin Units, the RH Touch Screen
controls the crisper). To adjust the default setting for the crisper so it does not automatically
turn on, refer to Navigating the Touch Screen Control section N7.10 User Configuration.
