4.3.
THE MAGICSBAS UM SETTINGS
While the application is not computing the navigation solution, it is possible to access to the tool
configuration through the Settings button (
).
This will open the main settings window that is arranged
into three sections:
SBAS receiver settings: Contains all
configuration parameters related with the
navigation solution computation.
Receiver Outputs: Allows configuring the
different outputs that the tool can produce.
Notifications: enables the configuration of the
notifications generated by the tool.
Each of these sections is detailed in the following
sections
4.3.1.
SBAS RECEIVER SETTINGS
By entering to this menu, it is possible to configure several navigation solution related options.
SBAS augmentation PRN: Allows the selection of
the SBAS PRN to be used for augmentation. It will
depend on the location and SBAS service provided.
For instance, during Australia testbed, the PRN 122
will be used. However this PRN will not be usable in
other regions such as Europe.
Smooth Time for Hatch Filer: Allows the user to
configure the minimum time needed to smooth
pseudorange measurements using the phase
measurements. For aeronautical users this value
shall be set to 100.
However, this value can be very
restrictive for urban users which may
need to reduce it in order to increase the
availability of the position computation.
