8 „NFAsoft“
The provided software serves ...
for the analysis of the data logged by the NFA
for the configuration of the NFA according to the user-specific preferences.
A double-click on the program-icon
opens the window shown
on the left. Here you can chose between the tool for the
analysis of the data
and that for the user-specific confi-
guration of your NFA
.
The language of the program’s user-interface will be cho-
sen automatically according to the preset language of your
operating system’s language.
System requirements
NFAsoft needs Windows (from ´98) or LINUX. If they run on your computer, then all
system requirements are met.
NFAsoft needs NO installation
hence ensuring a
maximum compatibility with, stability of and security for your PC. Just double-click
and start!
It might be necessary to disable anti-virus software
, as these do not „know“
NFAsoft and hence might disable or even erase it. You can also put it on their „whi-
telist“ (it might me necessary to repeat this for every new revision of NFAsoft).
SD memory card reader or USB-interface. The NFA is supplied with a „Class 6
SDHC”-SD memory card (appropirate readers are supplied as a standard since
2008).
8.1 Data Analysis
A click on the button
opens the following window:
The left one, „Statistics/Channels“, displays
statistic data of the various frequencies rsp.
frequency channels.
The right section shows the diagram of the
collected data over time.
The convention is that to the left, in „Statis-
tics/Channels“, you find always and real time
the statistic data for the time span selected on
the x-axis in the Diagram on the right hand side
