Istruzioni per l'installatore
Leggere attentamente le istruzioni prima di iniziare
l'installazione del prodotto.
Seguire tutte le istruzioni poiché una non corretta
installazione può condurre a gravi infortuni. Un'errata
installazione può essere fonte di pericolo. L'installazione deve
essere eseguita da personale professionalmente competente.
Installazione, collegamenti elettrici e regolazioni devono essere
effettuati nell'osservanza della Buona Tecnica e in ottemperanza
alle norme vigenti. Il costruttore della motorizzazione non è
responsabile dell'inosservanza della Buona Tecnica nella
costruzione degli infissi da motorizzare, nonché delle
deformazioni che dovessero intervenire nell'utilizzo. Il
costruttore della motorizzazione declina ogni responsabilità
qualora vengano installati componenti incompatibili ai fini della
sicurezza e del buon funzionamento.
L'installatore è tenuto a controllare che il range di temperatura
marcato sull'attuatore sia idoneo al luogo di installazione. La
quasi-macchina non è idonea per essere installata in ambiente
con la presenza di radiazioni ionizzanti, l'ambiente di
installazione e di lavoro non deve generare rischi per l'operatore.
Il locale di installazione deve essere ben illuminato, supponendo
che l'illuminazione ambiente del luogo in cui verrà impiegata la
quasi-macchina sia di normale intensità. Non installare il
prodotto in ambiente e atmosfera esplosiva: presenza di gas o
fumi infiammabili costituiscono un grave pericolo per la
sicurezza. Prima di iniziare l'installazione verificare l'integrità del
prodotto. Verificare che la struttura esistente abbia i necessari
requisiti di robustezza e stabilità. Prima di installare la
motorizzazione, apportare tutte le modifiche strutturali relative
alla realizzazione dei franchi di sicurezza ed alla protezione o
segregazione di tutte le zone di schiacciamento, cesoiamento,
convogliamento e di pericolo in genere.
Prima di installare l'attuatore, controllare che l'anta (a vasistas o
a sporgere) sia in buone condizioni meccaniche, correttamente
bilanciata e che si apra e chiuda appropriatamente.
Assicurarsi che durante il movimento di apertura e chiusura non
vi siano collisioni tra anta e telaio e che l'anta non si agganci al
telaio. L'anta deve avere un movimento libero.
Dopo l'installazione, assicurarsi che il meccanismo sia
appropriatamente regolato e che la protezione del sistema e
ogni rilascio manuale funzioni correttamente.
Prima di collegare l'alimentazione elettrica accertarsi che i dati di
targa siano rispondenti a quelli della rete di distribuzione
elettrica.
Prevedere sulla rete di alimentazione (esclusa dallo scopo di
fornitura) un interruttore/sezionatore omnipolare con distanza
d'apertura dei contatti uguale o superiore a 3 mm.
Verificare che a monte dell'impianto elettrico vi siano un
interruttore differenziale e una protezione di sovracorrente
adeguati.
I materiali dell'imballaggio (plastica, polistirolo, ecc.) non vanno
dispersi nell'ambiente e non devono essere lasciati alla portata
dei bambini in quanto potenziali fonti di pericolo. Per l'eventuale
riparazione o sostituzione dei prodotti dovranno essere utilizzati
esclusivamente ricambi originali.
Qualora la quasi-macchina fosse installata in posizione non
facilmente accessibile per l'operatore le strutture necessarie per
consentire l'accesso alle zone di intervento devono essere
messe a disposizione dall'utilizzatore in conformità alle
normative vigenti in materia di sicurezza.
Consigli e Norme di Sicurezza:
- N.B. Il sistema è stato testato per sostenere, ad anta aperta, un
vento massimo di 40 km orari. Si consiglia pertanto il
collegamento ad una centrale Pioggia e Vento (Pv1) e l'utilizzo di
un anemometro.
- Si consiglia di far eseguire l'installazione dei prodotti GIESSE
da personale specializzato nel settore e che dia garanzie di
adeguata competenza tecnica.
- Eseguire gli interventi come specificato dal costruttore.
- L'installatore deve verificare l'installazione e il corretto
funzionamento dell'apparecchiatura.
- E' vietato utilizzare il prodotto per scopi diversi da quelli previsti
o impropri.
- Utilizzare ricambi originali.
- Parti pericolose dell'attuatore devono essere installate ad un
altezza di minimo 2,5 m dal piano di calpestio.

CHAIN OPERATOR
Any other use constitutes misuse and is therefore
hazardous. The constructor cannot be held
responsible for any damage caused by improper,
incorrect and unreasonable use.
This device may only be used by children of 8 years
of age or above and by people with impaired
physical, sensory or mental capabilities if they have
been instructed in the safe use of the device and
are aware of the hazards involved. Children must
not play with the device. User cleaning and
maintenance must not be carried out by the
categories of person listed above without adequate
supervision.
Giesse declares that the noise emission of the
partly completed machine is < 70 dB(A).
The actuator's place of installation must have
sufficient natural and/or artificial light in
accordance with the regulations in force in the
country where the system is installed.
In all cases the lighting must be uniform, must
guarantee good visibility in all points and must
not create hazardous dazzling or stroboscopic
effects.
This partly completed machine must not be put
into service until the final machinery into which
it is to be incorporated has been declared in
conformity, where appropriate, with the
provisions of Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
The actuator is intended for installation on a
casement (not supplied) and can be equipped with
a radio remote control and/or any type of control, or
a fire prevention system.
The window must have suitable supporting and
safety systems; the actuator does not constitute a
supporting or safety component of the window.
Do not enter the window's radius of operation when
in motion.
The window must be fitted with limitation arms
suitable for the weight of the casement.
Do not attempt to block movement of the motorized
casement; this may cause hazards.
Do not enter the motorized window's radius of
operation when in motion. Do not work in the
vicinity of the hinges or mechanical parts when in
motion.
Safety instructions for the window maker:
- Check that the window components allow the
actuator to perform its complete operating stroke.
Otherwise, the parts subjected to stresses and the
actuator itself may be damaged.
- The actuator has pull force of 300N and thrust of
150N. The fixings and connection points of the
accessories must be sufficiently robust to
withstand these stresses.
- Examine the installation frequently to rule out any
imbalance from mounting, signs of moisture or
damage to the cables and the chain.
- Do not touch the chain when in motion.
- Disconnect the power supply during installation
and maintenance.
- Hazardous parts of the actuator must be installed
at least 2.5 m above floor level.
- The following personal protection equipment
must be worn during installation, cleaning and
maintenance:
RESIDUAL RISKS
- electrocution, on the connection terminals.
- moving parts hazard, on the actuator.
- crushing/entrainment hazard, on the actuator.
Safety instructions for the user:
These instructions must be kept and passed on to
any subsequent users of the actuator. These safety
instructions are an integral, essential part of the
product and must be consigned to the user. Read
them carefully; they contain important information
for safe installation, use and maintenance.
Do not use if any repair or adjustment is required.
Disconnect the power supply when cleaning the
device or performing any other maintenance work.
In the event of a product failure or malfunction, turn
off the power supply switch, do not attempt any
repairs or remedial action yourself and only call in
professionally competent staff. All cleaning,
maintenance or repair work must be carried out by
professionally qualified staff.
Installation, maintenance and repair work must be
logged and kept at the user's disposal.
This product must only be used for the purpose for
which it is specifically intended.
