Intended use and area of application
The GEDA-AB 450 or GEDA-AB 650 working platform is a height adjustable
working platform. Personnel and materials may only be transported within
the framework of the permissible service load and the work to be
implemented.
Personnel or material transport outside of this context is not permitted.
The following belongs to intended use,

That the assembly, operation and maintenance provisions (assembly and operating manual)
provided by the manufacturer are complied with.

Consequences of non-intended use of the equipment
−
Danger for life and limb of the user or a third party.
−
Damage to machine and other tangible assets.
Requirements of assembly personnel
The machine may only be assembled and maintained by expert persons (qualified personnel) who can
guarantee to handle it appropriately based on their training or knowledge and practical experience, and
who are aware of the risks. These persons must be specified for assembly, dismantling and
maintenance service by the employer.
Operating personnel
The machine may only be operated by persons who can guarantee to handle it appropriately based on
their training or knowledge and practical experience. These persons must

Be specified by the customer to operate the machine.
•
Be correspondingly instructed and informed about the risks.
•
Be acquainted with the assembly and operating manual.
•
Observe national regulations.
Residual risks
There are residual risks in spite of all the precautions met.
Residual risks are potential and not obvious risks, such as e.g.:

Danger from improper operation (non-compliance with the operating manual)

Danger from an inappropriately secured load falling down
−
Danger from high wind speeds (> 12.5 m/s)
−
Danger from operating a machine that has not been maintained correctly
