Central control
•
Connect the winches to the central control corresponding to Fig. 34
•
Connect power supply cable to the central control mains plug.
•
Unlock EMERGENCY STOP button (1).
The green indicator light (2) (ready for
operation) must be illuminated. If not, check
the mains connection.
•
Press pressure catch ON (3) to activate the
control system.
•
Platform up
Press key (4)
UP
and keep it pressed.
•
Platform down
Press key (5)
DOWN
and keep it pressed.
6 = control lamp for overload, rope end
surveillance, or wrong phase sequence

•
Switching off or stopping:
Release button (4) UP or button (5) DOWN.
In an emergency by operating the EMERGENCY STOP button (1).
Balancing out an inclination
When operating the working platform “up” or “down”, an increasing platform slant can occur due to
uneven slippage in the winches or as a result of speed differences. This slant is balanced out by central
control (with inclinations of approx. 4°).
It is possible to balance the inclination manually or switch off one individual winch for rope
assembly

Switching off the left winch

Simultaneously press
selector switch
(7) (on the left of the switch box)
and
the direction button
UP

or DOWN
(5).

Switching off the right winch

Simultaneously press
selector switch
(8) (on the right of the switch box)
and
the direction button

Work interruption/end of work
•
Press EMERGENCY STOP button.
•
Remove mains plug.

Shutting down in an emergency
•
In situations that present a risk for the operating personnel or the working platform, shutdown the
working platform by pressing the EMERGENCY STOP button.

The EMERGENCY STOP button is located on the control (Fig. 46 and Fig. 47 pos. 1).
NOTE
EMERGENCY STOP palm button switches are equipped with a stopping mechanism and remain
operated until they are un-locked again manually (turn red button to the right and pull it back).
