Maintenance / inspection procedures
Maintenance work may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Make sure that lubricants and spare parts are disposed of in an
environmentally friendly way.
13.1
Daily inspection/maintenance
•
The winch must be stopped immediately if
-
the EMERGENCY STOP button is pressed; the winch can only accept a drive command again
after the start button has been pressed. If a drive command is possible without pressing the start
button then the controller must be checked.

The direction button for UP or DOWN is released.
•
Check the upper suspension arrangement.
•
Visual inspection of the rope for damage (see also load capacity tables, Chp. 5.2, 5.4 and 5.5)
13.2
Weekly inspection/maintenance
•
Inspect guide bushing at entry point of drive and safety rope. Replace if damaged.
•
Inspect the feed roll at the output point of the drive rope. The plastic roll must be able to turn
freely.
13.3
Quarterly inspection/maintenance
•
Are the notices present and easily legible?
(bearing capacity, construction notes, load table, inclination scale).
•
Lubricate winch at grease nipple (1) during operation.

Lubricant recommendation:
Grease cartridge item No. 13893 for grease gun
NOTE
The winch must be greased more often corresponding to increased use or
multi-shift operation.

13.4
Reoccurring inspections
•
See inspections Chapter 4.3.1
•
Clean arrester devices, lubricate joints and check arrester device.
