2.11 Change a user's password

Use this procedures to change a user's password.
1.

Section 2.4, Open EA3

2. From the

Local Users

tab, select a user.

3. Click [Change Password].
4. From the

Change Password

window, enter a new

Password

○

A password can contain uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

○

A password should not contain the same characters as the username.

○

An error message displays if the password does not meet the minimum length criteria.

The minimum criteria is displayed in the

Minimum Password Length

field located at the

top of the

Local Users

tab. Change the password to an acceptable length.
