Standard Keyboard
Item Name Description
1 function keys ( F1 through F6 ) Use to select menu options on the
screen.

Power switch Use to turn the system on, bring the
system to
Standby mode, or turn the
system off.

Leads key Use to change the leads when the
screen is displaying waveforms.

Backspace key Use to delete characters.

ECG key
Use to acquire a resting ECG, to print
a 10–second report in
Arrhythmia
mode, or to print a 12–lead report in
Stress mode.

Rhythm key Use to print a continuous, real-time
rhythm ECG rhythm strip. Press the
Stop key to stop the rhythm strip
from printing. (Rhythm reports are
not stored and you cannot transmit
them).

Stop key Use to stop the writer from printing.

Enter key Use to advance the focus in a window,
or to select items from the screen.

Trimpad Press the arrows to move the cursor
left, right, up, or down. Press the
center of the
Trimpad to move the
focus within a window, or to select
an item.

Shift key Use to enter a capital letter. Press
shift + P to type a capital P.

Alt key Use to select menu options in the
Windows Explorer.

Space bar Use to add a space between typed
characters, or to highlight screen
items.

Option key Use to enter special characters on
non-English keyboards.

Esc key Use to close a window on the screen.

Stress keys These keys are on your keyboard if
your system has the stress option.
