REASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE

13. Click the drip cup back into position at the rear of the housing.
14. On the inner side of the lid, replace the cover of the steam vent. Ensure that the

cover engaged firmly and will not fall off.

15. Attach the lid seal securely back into the groove on the

inner side of the lid. The lid seal must lie comfortably

and without any distortions. Push the lid seal into the

groove until it sits evenly and firmly.

16. To reattach the lid: Move the lid arm to the

open position. Arrange the lid so that the

safety locking pin faces to the lid arm and

the pressure safety valve is in the upper

half of the lid. Then align the centre of the

lid with the bolt on the underside of the lid

arm and push the lid into position to expo-

se the screw thread. Ensure that there is

no gap between the lid arm and the lid.

Secure the lid by screwing on the sealing

nut hand-tight so that the red O-ring seals

against the lid surface.

Note:

You cannot fix the lid correctly, if the lid is not in the correct orientation. In this

case, turn the lid by 180°. Then try again. Do not over-tighten the sealing nut to

avoid damage to the thread.

17. Replace the pressure release valve by pushing it onto the steam vent. The nose

of the pressure release valve must face to the lid knob in the centre of the lid.

18. Replace the cooking pot, trivet and steaming tray. Then close the lid.
