Before connecting the appliance to the power supply and switching on, always ensu-

re that the appliance is assembled correctly (see: ‘Reassembling the Appliance’ and 

‘Preparing the Cooker for Operation’). Protect your 

hands with oven gloves prior to touching hot surfaces 

(e.g. lid, cooking pot). 

Ensure to fill at least 1 litre of water and/or 

fresh food into the cooking pot before starting 

the PRESSURE COOK function. Do not operate 

this function with the cooking pot empty, to 

avoid overheating and fire.

1.   Prepare the Multicook for operation (see: ‘Prepa-

ring the Cooker for Operation’).

2.   Turn the START/Select dial to move the 

indicator to the PRESSURE COOK func-

tion. Press the START/Select dial to con-

firm. The PRESSURE COOK screen page 

is shown.

3.   Turn the START/Select dial again to 

move the indicator on the right side of 

the LCD screen to the desired item. See: ‘Pre-Defined Settings Overview’. For 

each item, the pre-defined settings are shown: pressure level (kPa) and cooking 

time (HRS / MIN). 

4.   If required, turn the TEMP/Pressure dial to select the desired pressure. Pressure 

can be adjusted from 10 kPa (LOW) to 80 kPa (HIGH) in steps of 10 kPa. Addi-

tionally, the pressure level is shown via the indicator bar at the left side of the 

LCD screen.

5.   If required, turn the TIME dial to select the cooking time. Time can be adjusted 

from 5 minutes to 2 hours in steps of 1 minute.

6.   „KEEP WARM“ will be shown on the LCD screen, if the keep warm function is 

activated. To activate or deactivate the keep warm function, shortly press the 

KEEP WARM button.

7.   The steam icon in the upper centre of the LCD screen indicates the pre-set 

steam release method. Press the RELEASE button to select between “AUTO 

QUICK”, “AUTO PULSE” and “NATURAL” (see: ‘Steam 

Release Methods’). However, you should prefer the pre-

set method.

8.   Close the lid of the appliance. For this, turn the lid knob 

counter-clockwise while lowering the lid until the lid settles 

flat on the heating compartment. Then turn the lid knob
