Turn the small
FMS
Knob to select the ‘Airspace’ Group, if necessary, and press the
ENT
Key.
4) Turn the large FMS Knob to select the ‘Airspace ALT LBL’ Field.
5) Turn the small FMS Knob to select ‘On’ to display labels and ‘Off’ to remove labels.
6) Press the FMS Knob to return to the ‘Map - Navigation Map’ Page.

Setting airspace alerts
Enabling/disabling airspace alerts:
1)
Use the FMS Knob to select the ‘Aux - System Setup 1’ Page ( Setup 1 Softkey).
2)
Press the
FMS
Knob momentarily to activate the flashing cursor.
3)
Turn the large
FMS
Knob to highlight the desired field in the ‘Airspace Alerts’ Box.
4) Turn the small FMS Knob clockwise to turn the airspace alert On or counterclockwise to
turn the alert Off.
5) Press the FMS Knob to remove the flashing cursor.
Changing the altitude buffer distance setting:
1)
Use the FMS Knob to select the ‘Aux - System Setup 1’ Page ( Setup 1 Softkey).
2)
Press the
FMS
Knob momentarily to activate the flashing cursor.
3)
Turn the large
FMS
Knob to highlight the ‘Altitude Buffer’ Field in the ‘Airspace Alerts’
Box.
4) Use the FMS Knob to enter an altitude buffer value and press the ENT Key.
5) Press the FMS Knob to remove the flashing cursor.
Viewing Nearest airspace Information
Selecting and viewing an airspace alert with its associated information:
1)
Use the
FMS
Knob to select the ‘NRST - Nearest Airspaces’ Page.
2) Press the FMS Knob; or press the MENU Key, highlight ‘Select Alerts Window’, and press
the
ENT
Key. The cursor is placed in the ‘Airspace Alerts’ Box.
3) Select the desired airspace.
4)
Press the
FMS
Knob to remove the flashing cursor.
SMaRT aIRSPaCE
Turning smart airspace on or off:
1)
Use the
FMS
Knob to select the ‘Map - Navigation Map’ Page.
2) Press the MENU Key, and press the ENT Key. The cursor is placed in the ‘Group’ Box of
the ‘Map Settings’ Menu.
