Messages
The Navigator uses an on-screen message system to alert you to unit operating characteristics. Press
the
ENTER
key to acknowledge and return to the page you were viewing.
Using City or Postal Code May Help
- More addresses or intersections were found than can be displayed.
If the specifi c address or intersection you are looking for is not in the list, try entering a city or postal code
and searching again.
Antenna Shorted To Ground
- Check antenna wiring or antenna placement.
Battery Voltage Low
- The batteries are low and should be replaced.
Basemap Failed
- The unit’s basemap has failed. Return the unit to GARMIN for service.
Can’t Unlock Maps
- At least one map on the data card is locked.
Data Transfer Complete
- Transfer of data to the unit from PC software has been completed.
Database Error
- A waypoint or route failed to store in memory. If the problem persists, return the unit to
GARMIN for service.
GPS Turned Off for Indoor Use
- GPS satellite reception has been disabled for indoor use.
Lost Satellite Reception
- The unit has lost satellite signals. Check antenna connections or try moving it to a
location with a clear view of the sky.
Memory is Full
- The unit’s memory is full. To reduce the amount of memory used, delete unused routes,
waypoints, or track log data.
Memory (RAM) Failed
- The unit has detected a failure in its internal memory. If this message persists, the unit
is unusable - return it to GARMIN for service.
Memory (ROM) Failed
- The unit has detected a failure in its permanent memory. If this message persists, the
unit is unusable - return it to GARMIN for service.
No Diff GPS Position
- No differential correction data is available or not enough data is available to compute
a DGPS position.
