2.5 ACCESSING FUNCTIONALITY

2.5.1 PAGES

The G5 has two main pages, the HSI Page and the PFD Page. The HSI Page can only

be accessed from the PFD Page if:

• A GPS or navigation data source is configured (ARINC 429 or RS-232).

AND

• The G5 is not configured as the #1 backup unit

a GDU is present.

PFD Page

HSI Page

Displaying the HSI page from the PFD page:

From the PFD Page press the

Knob

to display the Menu.

Use the Knob to select

HSI

NOTE:

The G5 can be configured to power-up on either the PFD or HSI page

(if allowed by the current system configuration). Refer to the Installation
Manual section for more information.
