6.12 Transformer
For a 240V unit, a transformer is installed inside the Right Leg.
6.12.1 Specification
• 100VA,
50/60Hz

Primary 240V; Secondary, 120V

IMPORTANT
Input and Output on transformer are defined and must be observed.

IMPORTANT
The arrangement of links are critical and shouldn’t be altered.

IMPORTANT
If the primary voltage is different than 240V, the transformer may be able
to accommodate this. A licensed electrician must be consulted in this
matter.
6.12.2 Evaluation
HIGH VOLTAGE WARNING
Risk of an electric shock. Disconnect power supply to the unit when servicing, except
when electrical circuit tests are necessary. Be alert! Perform these tests with extreme
care.
Troubleshooting:
Refer to section “5.2 Troubleshooting Flowchart”. To evaluate if the transformer
is faulty, perform a resistance or continuity test or measure the input and output voltage.
Visual Inspection:
If there is any sign of overheating of the transformer — bulging housing or
burn marks, replace the transformer.
