Batteries 

 
The service batteries are located under the floor at the bottom of the companionway (port and 
starboard – forming one battery set. The engine battery is placed at the bottom of the 
companionway to port. Windlass and bow thruster battery (option) is under the forward cabin 
berth. 
 
The engine and service battery cut-off switches are placed in the technical locker to starboard, 
behind the stairs. The windlass/bow thruster/capstan battery cut off switch is controlled 
remotely from the electrical table at the foot of the stairs to starboard.

The capacity of the batteries has been optimized to meet the energy needs of the onboard 
accessories. To avoid any problems, it is necessary to take care that the batteries are well 
charged and well maintained.
