WARNING
Never try to deal with the attachment mechanism of the seacocks to the hull. In the
event of a leak, consult a professional.
In poor weather or when leaving your boat, close all seawater, black water and grey
water seacocks. During navigation the galley seacock must be closed to avoid seawater
in the galley sink.
Keep the seacocks closed when they are not in use.
During wintering, clean and rinse the seacocks and stopcocks.

Functioning of the manual marine WCs
For the use of the marine WC:
Open the sea water inlet seacock.
Open the outlet seacock.
Put the lever to the ‘FLUSH’ position.
Operate the pump.
To empty the bowl and avoid any water movement whilst heeled over, position the
lever on 'DRY BOWL’.
Operate the pump until the bowl is drained.
Repeat these flushing/draining operations as many times as necessary to ensure
complete evacuation of the pipes.
When the WC is not in use, place the lever on the 'DRY BOWL’ position, or for certain
models on the ‘CLEF’/ ‘key’ position.
PRECAUTION
Close the seacocks after use, the WCs are situated below the waterline
If the lever is hard to move, do not force it. It means that one of the seacocks is
closed.
Change the WC joints regularly.
If your WC is electrical, plan to have spare impellers.
