Note:
* When the lift is powered on, the Station lights will flash in counter-clockwise rotation
and the Conveyance lights flash for 20-30 seconds. The Drive PCB “TRANSFER”
(Yellow) LED will flash. Do not operate any controls. This is the 1
st
transfer mode.
* Once lights stop flashing in rotation, the lift is ready for learning and assigning. At this
point, the “TRANSFER” LED on the Drive PCB is off and the “NORMAL” LED is on.
2.
Learning & assigning:
Press the Setup button for 6 seconds and release.
* The Drive PCB “LEARNING” (Yellow) LED will flash while the Set up Button is
pressed, and will come on steady when the button is released.
* Station lights flash in counter clockwise rotation and the Conveyance lights flash for
20-30 seconds. This is the second transfer stage.
* After 20-30 seconds rotating lights change to rapid flashing, conveyance lights are on
steady.
* You are now ready to set the lower landing position.
* Note: During lower landing assignment, the lift runs at medium speed, until the lower
landing is established. After the lower landing is established, the lift will travel at the
normal speeds. Please remember, it is
normal
for the
CALL COM FLT
LED to light or
flash during the Setup procedure. This is because the lift is learning how many Stations it
will be required to communicate with in the system.
Make sure the lower landing interlock cam is in the approximate location to activate the
appropriate interlock on the back of the hanger in accordance with the site requirements.
Refer to site layout drawings for correct ramp designation. The upper interlock pin on the
back of the hanger opens the left ramp (facing the conveyance), and the lower pin opens
the right ramp. If both ramps are required to unfold, two cams must be installed. Install
the cams so that they follow the same angle as the tubes. Refer to the Maintenance and
repair section of this manual for limit cam adjustment. It is critical that the limit cams are
correctly positioned and that their positions are checked to ensure consistent stopping at
landings.
Using the conveyance controls, operate the down direction control until the correct pin in
the back touches the cam at the landing.
Do not go any further otherwise you may damage the interlock pin if the
cam does not activate it properly.
