Installing the Call Stations:
Mount the Call Stations, they can be installed in any order.
When mounting the Call Station, remember to allow enough clearance for the
conveyance at the lower landing. The height of each Call Station must be 1 m (3.1/4 ft),
measured from the floor to the center of the Call Station. Consult your local code
requirements for correct call station location.
Note: The upper landing Call Station and the instruction label is usually mounted to the
upper end of the tubes next to the Drive Box. If it is not, choose a location in
consideration of local code requirements, and ease of use for lift passengers.
Connect the stations in accordance with the electrical drawings for the lift. Each station
requires three conductors for control. Two more are required for the stop switch, if
supplied. Follow the appropriate schematic. Artira lifts come with a Generic schematic
package, SO IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO IDENTIFY AND FOLLOW THE
APPROPRIATE SCHEMATIC. Compact Drive lifts must be wired using the Drawing with
the letters “CD” in the title. Standard Drives use the drawing WITHOUT “CD” in the title.
If the Call Station is supplied with a pedestal, ensure that the pedestal is plumb before
mounting the Call Station.
