In case of splicing 900µm coating fiber, if the fiber has curls or
bending, it may be difficult to put such fiber on to V-groove such
that the fiber jumps out from the V-groove.
In such case, it might be better to put the fiber edge in a
downward direction (flip fiber with 180 degree).
S124 has 12 V-grooves. Fiber into the first V-groove as shown
the figure.
In case fiber has strong curl, it is difficult to put on the v-groove.
Please remove the curl before put on the v-groove. You can
remove the curl by fiber reformer (Please refer to the next
page).
