System error code (F08-01 to E09-Y) is displayed on the screen.
Cause : A system error has occurred in the NIBP unit due to following causes.
E08-01 : Communication Error (Sub CPU)
E08-02 : WatchDog Timeout (Main CPU)
E08-03 : Pressure Offset Error
E08-04 : Pressure Comparison Error
E08-05 : Sub CPU Power Supply Failure
E08-06 : Pressure Sensor 2 Power Supply Failure
E08-07 : Pressure Sensor 1 A/D Reference Power Voltage Failure
E09-A : Maximum cuff pressure has been exceeded.
E09-B : Inflation time has been exceeded.
E09-C : Quick mode timeout
E09-D : Measurement started during the long term mode pause period
E09-E : Measurement Time Over
E09-F : Timeout of pressure data transmission from main CPU
E09-G : Pressure Sensor 1 +5V Power Supply Failure
E09-H : Zero Calibration Timeout
E09-I : ROM Test Error
E09-J : RAM Test Error
E09-L : Clock transmission has ceased.
E09-M : Communication Failure at Power ON
E09-N : Pressure Comparison Failure
E09-O : Maximum inflation time has been exceeded.
E09-Q : Measurement was started before zero calibration
E09-R : Zero Calibration Error
E09-S : WatchDog Timeout
E09-T : +5V Digital Power Supply Failure
E09-U : Main CPU Power Supply Failure
E09-V : Pump Control Signal Failure
E09-W : Quick Exhaust Valve Control Signal Failure
E09-X : Sub CPU Constant Exhaust Valve Control Signal Failure
E09-Y : Main CPU Constant Exhaust Valve Control Signal Failure
Solution : System error will be automatically cancelled and NIBP measurement can be
performed, but if the same message is displayed, a failure of the equipment can be
considered.
The <NIBP Inflation Timeout (C01)> message is displayed.
Cause 1 : The air hose is not firmly connected, and the air is leaking.
Solution : Check if the air hose is properly connected.
Cause 2 : The cuff size does not match the selected patient type.
Solution : Use the cuff with correct size for the selected patient type.
The <NIBP Cannot Measure (C02)> message is displayed.
Cause 1 : The blood pressure may not be correctly measured due to the patient’s condition.
Solution : Check the patient’s condition, set the quick measurement to OFF, and measure
again.
Cause 2 : The cuff application may be loose.
Solution : Check that the cuff size is appropriate for the patient, and then measure again after
wrapping the cuff properly.
The <NIBP Exhaust Error (C03)> message is displayed.
Cause 1 : During measurement, an artifact such as body motion may have interfered.
Solution : Keep the patient still as much as possible, and measure while the patient is not
moving. When performing the measurement during surgery, avoid artifact caused by
the surgery.
