PART III INSPECTION AND SERVICE

2．INSPECTION, CLEANING, AND CHANGE OF OIL

●

For inspection and service, place the machine on a flat and large space without obstacle.
Stop the engine and make sure each part has stopped its operation completely and heating
part has cooled down before inspection and service.

●

During inspection and service, never smoke or keep anything which may cause fire near
the machine. Otherwise, the fuel ignites and fire may occur.

●

Do not supply fuel or oil in excess of the prescribed amount. Wipe away any spilled fuel
or oil completely.

●

If the covers are detached, be sure to fix them to their original position.

●

When inspecting or changing oil, keep the machine in horizontal position.

●

When changing oil, use receptacle for oil. Do not spill the oil around the machine. If the oil spilled,
wipe it off completely.

●

Be sure to dispose of waste oil in a place with waste oil disposal facilities.

Detach filler cap and drain plug. Drain the oil.

(2)

Attach the drain plug and put prescribed oil
through the filler port.

(3)

Check with an oil gauge that the oil level is
between the two marking lines on the gauge.

(4)

Attach the filler cap.

Check the amount of oil again when
more than 5 minutes have passed after
replenishing the oil.

●
