PART II  OPERATION   HOW TO OPERATE

6．LOADING, UNLOADING, TRANSPORTATION BY TRUCK

■LOADING AND UNLOADING

Failure to follow the instructions below may cause the machine turning over.

●

Be sure to use gangplanks that comply with the standard below. Select a location where 
the gangplanks will not tilt due to the weight of the machine.

●

Fix the hooks of gangplanks on the carrier securely so that the gangplanks do not slide.

●

Do not set travel clutch lever at "Off" while going up or going down. Do not set change 
lever at or through "N.Neutral". The machine may fall.

●

Do not operate the side clutch lever on gangplanks. The machine may slip and lose its 
balance, which is very dangerous.

●

When loading or unloading on/from truck, stop the engine of truck and set its gear at 
‘P’ or ‘1st’ or ‘R’ and engage parking brake. Put stopper blocks under wheels for lock.

●

When moving the machine from gangplanks to the carrier, angle of the machine changes 
abruptly. Be very careful.

     (1)

Select a flat and safe location.

     (2)

Securely set gangplanks that comply with the 
standard.

     (3)

Set the throttle lever at a position in the middle 
of "      =High speed" and "        =Low speed". 
When loading, move the machine forward.
When unloading, move the machine backward.

●

When moving backward, be careful of 
obstacles on your back and footing. 
Travel at low speed.

     (4)

Raise the auger housing so that it does not 
contact with gangplanks.

■TRANSPORTATION

●

Do not start up, accelerate, turn or stop the truck abruptly while transporting the machine. 
Drive safely.

     (1)

When transporting, lower the auger housing to press the truck carrier and fix front and 
rear parts of crawler with wooden blocks to lock the machine. 

     (2)

Fasten the machine onto the truck carrier with a rope.
