4.INSPECTION AND PREPARATION BEFORE WORK
●
Be sure to stop the engine and confirm that every part has stopped its operation
completely and the engine has cooled before carrying out inspection, refueling, and
lubrication. In case you must carry out inspection with the engine started, never get
close to rotation part and heating part.
●
Before handling fuel, remove static electricity by touching metal such as the machine.
Never smoke or keep anything which may cause fire near the machine. Otherwise,
the fuel ignites and fire may occur.
●
Pay attention to short-circuit, spark, and fire such as cigarette when handling battery.
Wrong handling may cause ignition and explosion.
●
Before using the machine, make sure the travel clutch lever and work clutch lever are
interlocked, and that backward emergency stop device, each interlock switch, and
blower brake work correctly. If these parts do not work correctly, stop using the machine
and ask your dealer for service immediately.
●
Do not supply fuel or oil in excess of the prescribed amount. Wipe away any spilled fuel
or oil completely.
●
If the covers are detached, be sure to fix them to their original position.
●
Before using the machine, be sure to carry out inspection and preparation below.

Amount of each oil is adequate and they are not
remarkably dirty.

Amount of fuel is adequate.

Amount of battery electrolyte is adequate.

Wiring of electric system is not loosened.

There is no dust clogging the air cleaner.
⑧
There is no damage of machine.
Bolt and nut are not loosened.
3. Engine switch on.

There is no light up in the engine oil lamp.
⑩
Lamp is not dirty.
4. Start the engine.
⑪
Color of exhaust gas from muffler is not abnormal.
There is no leakage of exhaust gas.
⑫
Engine starts correctly without abnormal noise.
⑬
Engine speed can be controlled correctly to high and low.
■LEAKAGE OF FUEL AND OIL

Walk around the machine to check if there is
leakage of fuel and oil around the machine.
●
If leakage is found, ask your
dealer for inspection and service.
