While your SONAbeam terminal can be ordered with an interface for either single-
mode or multi-mode fiber optic cables, but note that there are fiber transmit and receive
power limitations for proper network performance. (See the latest SONAbeam E-Series
fiber interface specification datasheets for more information)…
Matching the fiber requirements – fibre type, wavelength and power – of the
SONAbeam terminals with those of all associated connecting equipment.
If you are also implementing a redundant RF link or wire line path, you must also
consider the necessary switch/router programming to steer your data through the
appropriate link.
