N.B.!
If you attempt to use a non-weldable wirefeed speed, the lowest
weldable value will be set.
Arc-length correction dial
... For continuous correction of the pre-set
arc-length within a +/- 20% range (voltage command value is only
indicated in Standard Program mode)
Burn-back time correction dial
- Standard Manual mode ... Burn-back time is continuously adjustable
from 1-4 on scale (0 - 0.4 s.)
- Pulsed-Arc and Standard Program mode ... Before the start of welding,
the dial must be set to the middle value on the scale; the parameters
for the burn-back time are integrated within the welding program in
question
- Dial turned all the way to left ... minimal droplet formation on wire-end
- Dial turned all the way to right ... more droplet formation on wire-end
Wire-inching button
... for feeding the wire electrode into the torch
hosepack with no flow of gas or current
Torch On/Off switch
... for deactivating the torch trigger (e.g. when the
machine is to be hoisted by crane)
- left-hand switch position ... torch trigger deactivated
- right-hand switch position ... torch trigger activated
Connection socket for optional intermediate feeder
Remote-control connection socket
... for connecting up the required
remote-control unit
Shielding gas connection socket
Torch-control connection socket
... for connecting up the control plug
from the welding torch
Torch central connector
... for attaching the welding torch
- Socket with bayonet latch
... Interconnecting cable
Plug-type connection for water return flow
... Interconnecting cable
Shielding gas connection socket
... Interconnecting cable
Plug-type connection for water forward flow
... Interconnecting cable
Connection socket for control plug
... Interconnecting cable
Wire inlet
Fuse for wirefeeder motor
(4A slow)
N.B.!
The wirefeeder motor is water-cooled. The motor will only be cooled
if the wirefeeder is always connected up to the coolant circuit of the torch.
Mode switch
... for selecting the operating mode
- 2-step mode
- 4-step mode
- T.I.M.E. 4-step mode
2-step mode
- Press and hold the torch trigger: Start of welding
- Release the torch trigger: End of welding
4-step mode
- Press and release the torch trigger: Start of welding
- Press and release the torch trigger again: End of welding
T.I.M.E. 4-step mode
... For retrieving the start-up, welding and final-
current parameters via the torch trigger
- Press and hold the torch trigger: Start of welding, with the pre-set
starting current (P-Start)
- Release the torch trigger: Starting current drops via slope to the
welding current set on the welding power dial
- Press and hold the torch trigger again: Welding current drops via slope
to the pre-set final current (P-End)
- Release the torch trigger: End of welding
Welding-power dial
- 1-10 scale ... For continuous setting of the welding power (only if
T.I.M.E. indicator is not lit up)
- Wirefeed speed 0-30m/min scale ... For continuous setting of the
wirefeed speed (only if T.I.M.E. indicator is lit up)
