Aligning torch body for special rack positions
General - The Robacta TX torch body is configured at the factory in such a way that the end of
the torch body points away from the torch body changeover station when the torch
body is deposited in the torch body rack
- The direction in which the end of the torch body is pointing depends on the position in
which the torch body is bolted to the torch body insulation
- The torch body insulation must always be deposited in the same position in the torch
body rack so that it cannot be rotated. Only the torch body can be rotated in the torch
body insulation
- To change the alignment of the torch
body, the torch body can be turned in
90° steps in the torch body insulation

Undo the screws (1)
Push torch body insulation (2) down
approx. 50 mm (1.97 in.)
NOTE! If the alignment of the torch body is changed, the alignment of the robot
programming aid on the torch body must be changed.
