can see, the process is very simple to do. The first line is the name of the category which
appears in plaintext. Beneath that category name you list the sounds numerically based upon
their assignment within the Truck Pro remote control.
Any time you modify the category file in the Truck Pro, you must download the playlist to the
Truck Pro remote control.

Editing the Categories with FOXPRO Utility
Make sure that you have installed the FOXPRO Sound Programming Utility as described in
section 11-5. When working with the Truck Pro and the utility, you will notice the “Edit
Categories” button above the “Caller Sound Files” column. Click on this button to launch the
category editor.
The screen provides a split-screen view. The left pane shows all of the sounds installed in your
Truck Pro. The right pane shows all of the categories (or no categories if none have been
defined). To create a new category, click on the “New Category” button, type in the desired
name, then click “OK”. The new category will appear on the right.
To move sounds into a specific category, click and drag the desired sound from the list on the
left into the category on the right. Note that when you are dragging the sound, the mouse
pointer will turn into a speaker. When you are finished assigning sounds into categories, click on
the “Save/Done” button to exit. Be sure to update the playlist on the remote control as
described in section 11-8.

Updating the Remote Playlist
Before carrying out the steps listed below, make sure that you have your Truck Pro connected
to a power source and Truck Pro remote control has batteries installed.
Disconnect all
accessories (speakers, decoys, USB cables, etc.) prior to starting this process.
Be sure to verify
that the Truck Pro and Truck Pro remote are both on the same channel of operation, otherwise
the list will not update.
1.
Turn on the Truck Pro and Truck Pro remote control.
2.
Access the main menu on the Truck Pro remote.
3.
Select the “TX1000 Settings” menu.
4.
Select the “Download Sound List” item from the menu to initiate the transfer.
Once the process is complete, you will see an overview on the screen showing you how many
sounds, sequences, and categories have been detected during the transfer process. Exit the
menu and return to your sound list to review the changes you have made.
If there were any problems during the transfer, the Truck Pro remote will revert back to the
previous sound list as a failsafe.
