LESSON 3

NOTES

ACCESSING THE ACTIVE COMMAND MODE

Selecting the active command modes function allows you to
cycle on and off the high speed and low speed fans as well as
some of the other outputs.

The following selections are displayed on the screen:

l

ALL OFF

l

ALL ON

l

LOW FAN

l

HIGH FAN

(Additional commands are available for vehicles equipped with
a 5R55E transmission.)

To use this function, highlight the desired mode and press the
START button. This causes the output to cycle either ON or
OFF. After START has been pressed the screen changes,
meaning that the START button now changes to a STOP
button. Pressing the STOP button causes the command mode
to quit.

While in the active command mode you can view other PlDs to
monitor their reaction to the cycling of the outputs.
