7-2. Removing a Power Supply Unit

The procedure for removing a USF-212PS from the PS1 SLOT is explained as an example.

1. Open the front panel. Refer to Sec. 4-2 "Opening the F

ront Panel.”

2.

Shut down the Power Supply 1.

3.

Unplug the AC cable of Power Supply 1 from the back side. Refer to Sec. 2 "Installing the AC
Cord Retaining Clip” for details.

4.

Loosen the screw of the power supply fixing bracket by turning it counterclockwise. When the
screw is completely loose, the fixing bracket can be detached.

5.

Pull the unit out slowly using the grab handle.

6.

Fix the remaining power supply unit with the fixing bracket removed in Step 4, then tighten the
screw.

7

Close the front panel immediately.
