58 Voice/Videophone Calls
Receiving voice/videophone calls
Because this FOMA terminal is not equipped with a camera on the front, you cannot send your image
through the camera while talking. By default, Chara-den is sent to the other party during a videophone
call. You can also send an image through the camera on the back or a substitute image set in advance.

The ring alert sounds, the display light turns on and the Enter key lights or flashes.

The other party’s voice comes out of the speaker during a videophone call (Speakerphone function).

Even when Chara-den is set as the substitute image, Chara-den may not be displayed. If this happens,

The caller’s information such as phone number, name, image and video/i-motion will be displayed on the screen
according to the caller ID setting and your FOMA terminal settings. You can set the FOMA terminal not to
display the name or phone number.
