PROBLEMS
The vices are clamped, the
motor starts, but the sawblade
does not come out.
The machine is supplied with
power, air is reaching the filter
properly, but the machine does
not respond to the controls.
One of the electro-pneumatically
controlled operations is not
working (e.g.: vice closing / hood
closing / blade exit, etc.)
Machine supplied with power, air
connected, but motor will not start
The saw blade wears out too
quickly
The cut is ruined
Cutting is not to size
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Solenoid valve for the operation
is broken
Faulty high pressure switch
Faulty line pressure switch
Solenoid valve for the operation
is broken.
1 - Thermal magnetic circuit breaker
triggered
2 - Faulty remote control switch
Not enough blade lubrication
Profiles are anodised too much.
Blade chipped following impact.
Low quality blade
Resharpen after cutting.
Blade feed speed too high.
Not enough blade lubrication.
Machine not levelled properly.
Extruded profiles not linear.
Machine not levelled properly.
Incorrect X axis zero setting.
REMEDIES
Fit a new solenoid valve
Fit a new high pressure switch
Fit a new line pressure switch
Replace solenoid valve.
1 - Reset circuit breaker
2 - Replace remote control switch
Increase amount of blade
lubrication.
Use less anodised profiles.
Fit a new blade.
Use only good quality blades
Try better clamping set up using
specific jaws of necessary.
Lower the blade feed speed.
Increase amount of blade
lubrication.
Check again that the machine is
level (see chap. 5.4).
Use straight extruded profiles.
Check again that the machine is
level (see chap. 5.4).
