Post process the resulting data (saving the new data set as a separate list file) to remove any non-bead or
particles that might have been imaged during the run (either by using a pre-defined filter, or manually
selecting particles from the View Window). Open the newly saved post-processed list file. The
Particles/mL value will be displayed on the Main Window and via the ‘Statistics’ menu item in the View
Window.
Interpretation of Results:
The Particles/mL value will be displayed on the Main Window and via the
‘Statistics’ menu item in the View Window. Use the Test Results Checklist at the end of this Appendix
to record the results and store as part of the instrument history record. If the instrument does not
measure the concentration correctly (within the error values stated by the count standard
manufacturer/supplier) then the above counting procedure should be repeated to double check the out of
tolerance results.
