6.3.3 Preparing for attachment
Before attaching the drag hose spreader to the tank trailer, the latter must be secured against rolling
away.

To do so, you must connect the towing vehicle to the tank trailer.

Apply the parking brake of the towing vehicle incl. the tank trailer.

Place wheel chocks under the wheels of the tank trailer.
Uncover the mudguards
(remove specific brackets)

Disassembly
Move the tank to working position (field). If the drawbar can
be adjusted, the pump tank should be tilted forward or the
vacuum tank tilted backward.
For all tank types, the tank trailer should be positioned on a
level surface. The tilt angle of the tank should be set as in
working position. (If possible, tilt the pump tank forward or
the vacuum tank backward.)
