7.3.1 Extending the spreader
1. The spreader is in transport position.
2. Operating tractor control unit I causes the spreader to lift out of the transport retainers.
Once the necessary oil pressure has been reached (pressure sequence valve), both
spreader arms swing backwards.
3. Once the spreader arms have been fully extended, control unit I must be depressurised.
(Floating position)
the spreader arms move downwards.
4. The spreader hoses should not touch the ground when in working position.
7.3.2 Spreading
1. Connect the three-pin connector to the socket on the tractor
2. Open the hydraulic slide gate at the end of the tank
3. Apply continuous pressure via control unit II (required oil volume: max. 20 l/min)
4. Set the switch on the control panel (screw distributor) to "On"

5. Switch on the pump (in the case of a vacuum tank, switch on the compressor before
opening the slide gate)
