7 Connection

The connections are on the upper side of the transmitter, see Fig. 7.14.
• Remove the substitute plug, if present.
• Insert the connector of the transducer cable into the socket of the transmitter. The red
point (a) on the connector has to be aligned with the red marking (b) on the socket, see
Fig. 7.15.
• Secure the connector with of the locking ring by tightening the locking screw, see Fig.
7.16.
• If a socket for the connection of transducers is not used, close it with a substitute plug.
Secure the substitute plug by tightening the locking screw.
