Infotainment system
Important note
As indicated in the general remarks referred to here, the
driver can be distracted by a number of factors including the
navigation/infotainment systems. If possible, the infotainment system
should only be used by the passenger. If used by the driver, stop the
vehicle.
Characteristics
The infotainment system on the vehicle consists of:
●
10.25” full HD capacitive display for multi-touch use
(The zoom-in and zoom-out functions on the maps, for example,
can be activated by pinching in and out in the same way as on
smartphones)
●
Radio
●
DVD/CD changer (6 discs)
●
USB connectors (2 in the pocket change tray underneath the front
armrest)
If the vehicle is equipped with a CarPlay system, one of the two
connectors underneath the front armrest will be used to connect
the CarPlay-enabled peripherals and will be marked with a special
symbol.
●
Bluetooth connection
●
Satellite navigation system with 3D maps
●
Apple CarPlay
●
Internal Hard Disk: to save music/photos/videos
●
Multimedia Gallery: to display photos/videos on the system display
●
Control of "Comfort" parameters with possibility of setting the
internal temperature and controlling the heating/cooling of the front
seats.
●
Split View: by using the
virtual key, different types of
content can be displayed at the same time (for example: sat nav
system and radio).
Important note
In the main system menu, the PHONE soft key is replaced by the
APPLE CARPLAY soft key if an enabled peripheral is connected to
the system. If you want to pair a peripheral using BLUETOOTH, first
disconnect the peripheral from the dedicated APPLE CARPLAY USB
socket or deactivate APPLE CARPLAY on your phone.
User interface
The infotainment system information is displayed on the 10.25” display
in the centre of the dashboard. Users can interact with the system by
touching the screen which has multi-touch technology and using the
controls (1 joystick, 1 volume knob, 4 buttons) underneath the system
display.
