6. EtherCAT Object Dictionary
Control Safety Input
This object can config the inputs of Safety Function.
Inputs of I/O Connector can be assign for Safety Function by setting Control Safety Input.
If Control Safety Input is set to 0, Safety Function using Digital Inputs is disabled.
Value Description
0 Disable the Safety Function.
1 Use Digital In1 as Safety Function. Digital In1 is assigned to the TQOFF1 and TQOFF2.
2 Use Digital In1 and Digital In2 as Safety Function. Digital In1 is assigned to the TQOFF1 and
Digital In2 is assigned to the TQOFF2.

When Safety Function is enabled, the bit 28 (TQOFF1), bit 29 (TQOFF2) of Digital inputs indicate the
status of Safety Inputs.
Control Safety Output
This object can config the output of Safety Function.
if Control Safety Output is set to 1, it can be checked whether the TQOFF Inputs are ON or OFF by
Digital Out1.
Value Description
0 -
1 Use the Digital Out1 as Safety Function. Digital Out1 output becomes ON when assigned
input at TQOFF Input is OFF.

When Digital Out1 was assigned to the Safety Function, the value of bit 16 of Object 60FEh: Digital
outputs that controls the output of Digital Out1 is ignored.
Safety IO Logics
This object can config the active level of the Safety Input and Safety Output.

The bit 0 of Safety IO Logics is Safety Input Logic. when the value is 0, if the photocoupler of the
assigned inputs as Safety Input is [OFF : Non-conduction], it recognized as OFF and the Safety Function
is activated.
when the value is 1, if the photocoupler of the assigned inputs as Safety Input is [ON : Conduction], it
recognized as OFF and the Safety Function is activated.
