Timing of BRAKE ON can be set by Brake delay (2010h).

4.9

Safety Function

The ’Safety Function’ allows the motor to shutdown and stop the motor in emergency situation or to
protect the operator or equipment.
When the ’Safety Function’ is activated, the motor is shut off and the motor stops by inertia. However,
the control of the drive (except the motor power) and EtherCAT communication are normally performed.
Digital Inputs and Digital Output can be used as Safety Function. The setting and monitoring status of
Safety Function are available by using Object 2040h: Safety Mode. For the detail, please refer to

6.6.20
