Advanced Features

9.1

User Profile

The device allows user to create up to five user accounts and each user account will have its own

User Profile. This allows multiple users to use the same device without sharing personal information

such as phonebook, call logs, line accounts, etc.

There are two types of user privilege, Administrators and Users. If a user account is created as

Users privilege, this account will have limited accessibility to the device and cannot change some

device settings.

The user account can be used to operate the device or access the device web portal by login to the

device or its web. The authentications for device operation and web are different. To operate the

device, user may be required to input user PIN code if a user PIN code is set, or user can operate

the phone directly by switching to the user profile of his/hers if PIN code is not set. On the hand,

each user should log in to device web portal with his/her username and web password.

The user account can be created or deleted by Administrators from the device web portal in page

[System] -> [User Profiles], or on the device in User Profile management screen by long-pressing 0.

If the device has more than one user account created, user can switch user profile by long-pressing

0, select user account and click

[OK] to switch. PIN code may be required if the user account‟s

PIN is set.
