Step 1. Select display language of the user interface.

X3 supports multi-language display and user interface. Since v1.3.0, English, Simplified Chinese,

Traditional Chinese, Russian, Italian, Turkish, Japanese, Deutch, Dutch, and Spainish has been

supported and there are more language to be translated and supported.

The default language of the device is English.

User may change the language by pressing

[Edit] button, select the language, and click

[OK] to save the changes.

When user selected to change the language for the first time, the system will check if there is an

updated fontset. If there is a new fontset, the phone will try to download new fontset from the Internet,

this may take tens of second and user may cancel the fontset update manually if user do not need

the update, however, some of the languages might not be displayed correctly or will not be offered

for options.

Once the display language has been set, or user does not wish to change the language, user can

press

[Next] button to move on to the next configuration.

Step 2. Configure network connection mode.

There are three network connection modes, DHCP, Static IP, and PPPoE, default is DHCP. User

may change the connection mode by pressing

[Edit] button, select the connection mode, enter

relative information, and click

[OK] to save the changes. When done, press

[Next] button

to move on to the next configuration, or

[Previous] button to go back to last configuration if

user wishes to change it.
