SYSTEM / Auto Provision
The Auto Provision settings help IT manager or service provider to easily deploy and manage the
devices in mass volume. For the detail of Auto Provision, please read “X3 Administration Guide”

SYSTEM / Tools
Tools provided in this page help users to identify issues at trouble shooting. Please refer to
for more detail.
8.8.1
Syslog
Syslog provides log messages of different levels. By default, it is disabled. Whenever needed, user
can enable the service by entering the syslog server
‟s IP address and port and specify the debug
message levels. The specified host will received the log messages.
8.8.2
Network Packet Capture
The network packet capture function allows user to gather the inbound and outbound network
packets of the phone and down
load them to user‟s PC. This is especially helpful for issue analysis.
8.8.3
Screenshot
The screenshot function provides user an easy way to get a snapshot of the current screen on the
phone. This tool can help users to write instruction document or reporting issue to Fanvil which
related to the screen display.
8.8.4
Reboot
User can reboot the phone by click [Reboot] button. However, when the phone is busy during a call
or call initiation, rebooting is not allowed. When user pressed [Reboot], a confirmation message will
be prompted to prevent the button was pressed accidentally by the user. Once user confirmed to
reboot the phone, the phone will un-register all lines properly before proceeding the rebooting.
