Method 2
–
While user is talking in a phone call, put the current call on hold and make a second call by
pressing [Making new call]
soft-button.
Dial the number of the transfer target.
When the user hears the ringback tone or when the transfer target answered the call, user
can press [Call transfer]
soft-button to transfer the call.
*If the transfer target is busy or would not take the call transfer, user can hang up the
second call and retrieve the first call back by pressing [Call resume]
soft-button.
After call transferred, hang up the phone.
Unattended Transfer
Unattended transfer is also known as the
„Fire and Forget‟ or „Blind Transfer‟ mode. Instead of
connecting to the transfer target first and confirming the availability, user simply trigger the call
transfer to the transfer party without being responsible of the success of the call transfer.
To perform an unattended transfer, user can do the followings,
Method 1
–
While user is talking in a phone call, put the current call on hold and start a call transfer by
pressing [Call transfer]
soft-button.
Dial the number of the transfer target, then hang up. The call transfer will be triggered when
user hung up.
Method 2
–
While user is talking in a phone call, put the current call on hold and make a second call by
pressing [Making new call]
soft-button.
Dial the number of the transfer target, then press [Call transfer]
soft-button to transfer
the call and user will be automatically disconnected from the first call.
Call Transfer in Conference
In a conference call, user can drop out from the calls and let the two remote parties continue the call
by call transferring in the conference. Just press
[Call Transfer] button. The call will be
transferred to remote parties and user may hang up the call.
