Join / Split Two Calls (3-way Local Conference)

In the dual call mode, user can join two calls into a conference call by pressing

[Merge Calls]

button. When two calls are joined, user can split them by pressing

[Split Calls]

6.1.3

Call Transfer

While the user is talking with a remote party, if the user wishes to transfer the call to another one,

there are two ways to transfer the call, attended transfer and unattended transfer.



Attended Transfer

The attended call transfer is also known as the „polite mode‟ which is to dial the number of the

transfer target and confirm the availability before transferring.

To perform an attended transfer, two methods are supported,

Method 1

–



While user is talking in a phone call, put the current call on hold and start a call transfer by

pressing [Call transfer]

soft-button.



Dial the number of the transfer target.



When the user hears the ringback tone or when the transfer target answered the call, user

can hang up the phone to transfer the call.

*If the call cannot be transferred due to the transfer target is busy, the phone will end the

second call automatically and user can retrieve the first call back by pressing [Call resume]

soft-button.
